What is OranjDisplay System or Display system?

Content Display System consists of two major components:

• Content Display System (OranjDisplay) that publishes content.
• Templating system that web designers and content specialists can use to develop templates as per their requirements.

OranjDisplay system displays content in a flexible way as designed by the content specialist and web designers. What is templating in OranjDisplay?

To minimize the impact of layout changes, we need a mechanism for including layout in addition to content; that way, both layout and content can vary without modifying files that use them.

OranjDisplay utilizes the cutout to describe a template in the templating system, templates are used to create a common look and feel. The OranjDisplay System splits the display page logically into a number of cutouts. There are various types of cutouts, viz “DisplayArticle”, “Topheadline”,"Import article list" etc. Basically Cutout defines common page layouts and reuses them across your website.

Freemarker is used to specify display structure of cutout contents freemarker markup is used to develop custom html and mesh data with the div tags, attributes like image width, height and other parameters can be used to define the cutout.

OranjComment system is solution where user can post the comments on different contents like articles, comments, photos, audios and videos. OranjComment system can be Integrated easily with login security - For submitting the comments and rating the comment, login is required. Unless user is not registered and logged in, system will not allow the user to submit comment, vote/rate the article and share comments with other users on facebook. So user needs to be registered before submitting the comment. User will be able to upload images alongwith the comment so after submission of comment the uploaded images will get displayed with the comment on story page. Comment max length is fixed to specified number of characters. The article page displays all the submitted comments so that user can read the posted comments. Integration with Facebook: OranjComment system has the feature of sharing the comments with Facebook. Rate the submitted comments- User can rate the comments if user likes it. Abuse comments- OranjComment system has the ability to abuse the comment. If registered user feels that someone has posted an offensive comment then user can report abuse it from the comments list,this will remove the comment from display.The admin will moderate that comment and again set the status for display. comment OranjFeed OranjFeed: Content feeds for each organization is different in nature, as the format and content submitted may be different, OranjFeeds has been architected to accommodate consumption of different content types from multiple channels, this is achieved by transforming the feeds from organization specific feed format to a standard feed format that can, then be consumed by OranjCMS. Following feed formats are supported XML, TEXT and email, OranjFeed consumes the feed content and assigns it to the display channel all within couple of seconds. Rules can be setup to publish articles with moderators approval and free-up the content specialist to do more creative work.
